Governor Spitzer took on some top notch Powers that Be when he was the attorney general of New York and he won,
Hooray for him! This act was known as political suicide. You don't mess around with the Powers that Be, a Clinton or a Bush if you don't want to be destroyed. I'm not giving Elliott a pass for his bad behavior, just another case of greed and power rearing its ugly head (gee if Bill Clinton can get away with it why can't I ) He acted like a man said he was sorry and went away. He didn't put his wife and three daughters through months and months of horror like Bill Clinton did.. Now the timing of his demise is right out of the movie about Bill Clinton (Wag the Dog). The powers that Be exposed Elliott's prostitution practices about ten minutes before the Bear Sterns buyout (200 billion of our tax money) was announced on page 28 under the garbage collecting schedule and Elliott Spitzer is on page one. Governor Spitzer would have been all over Bear Sterns, they might not have gotten away with stealing 200billion dollars from us. Whatever happened to the 160 billion S&L buyout? What ever happened in the Keating Five scandal wasn't John McCain part of that one?
We know what happened when Governor Spitzer and Senator Clinton teamed up to give the illegals drivers licenses in the state of New York. The people screamed so loud Gov. Spitzer backed down, Hillary flipped flopped.
The new governor of New York looked like one of us until he opened his mouth. He should be on the Jerry Springer Show instead of the governors office. More of the same an immoral, power and greed motivated anti American man.
